Preparation before starting the machine
1. To prepare enough raw materials for the start.
2. Check the running parts, and to be sure that it's clean there.
3. To turn around the fiber aggregate saw roller with a spanner.
4. To fill oil at greasing points.
5. To check all bolts and nuts, and see if they are loosing.

Start the machine in order
- To turn-on, the Key on the Control Panel(or open the window text shower), and move the Fiber Aggregate Machine and the saw roller.(Except normal stop.)
- Start the blowers and vacuum Pumps.
- Start the bin
- Start the Fiber Aggregate Machine
- Start the main motor.
- Start the magnetic motor.
Stop the machine in Order.
To turn-off the key on the control panel. (or close the window text shower) 。 The saw roller on the Fiber Aggregate shall run a few minutes more in order to avoid the jamming happen. Then switch off the Power switch, heating switch, and main switch.
All the Running Parts Adjustment.
A When the Fiber Aggregate Machine doesn’t feed smoothly;
- To adjust the blowing air valve when pulp is not forming well, and one side is thicker and other side is thinner. To adjust the blowing air volume on each side glass plate till the forming is well distributed.
- To adjust the blower volume.
(3)When the material doesn't feed smoothly due to the air pressure in the feed bin is higher while in the air blower is lower:
a . Decrease the material in the feed bin a little bit, and be sure not to decrease too much.
b Clean the rejects bag in the feed bin.
c Increase slightly the gap of the damper between the body of the bin and the separator.
d Lower down the airflow produced by the feed fan, and check if there is any impurity on the blades of each fan.
e Check if there is any blockage formed in the piping of the whole circulation system.
(4)The material doesn’t feed smoothly due to too much cotton pulp stuck on the insert plate of the Fiber Aggregate Machine on both sides.
(5)Check if there is static electricity.
(6)The material doesn’t feed smoothly due to the occurrence of the cotton pulp in the suction air catcher caused by the offset of the mesh.
(7)Check if the gap of the aluminum wheel in the Fiber Aggregate Machine has any change and if the stretch wheel of the aluminum wheel is misalignment or the chain is too loose.
(8)Check if the mesh is blocked.
B when the Fiber Aggregate Machine is not feeding.
- To check if the stepless bar, is adjusted to it minimal speed.
- To check if the step-less bar is loose.
- To check if the blower is not working.
- To check if the raw materials feeding is smooth.
- To check if the feeding blower pressure is enough
- To check if the aluminum wheel is geared well with the chains.
- lf the gap between the aluminum wheels is very big, or a pulp ball occurs, when the balls come more and more, the feeding is blocked.
- To check if the aggregate machine is operating well.
- To check if the aluminum wheel bearings are broken.
- To check if there are too much pulp between the two side plates
on the aggregate machine.
C、 How to solve the pulp feeding problems on the aggregate machine.
- To adjust the side plates on the machine.
- To adjust the pulp feeding blower if the volume is not enough.
- To adjust the step-less device id it’s not on the right position.
- To adjust the pressure for blower.(For example, the blower rotates inversely.)
- To adjust the raw materials in the bin
- To adjust the belt of the bin
2、Adjustment of Paper Cladding
- Adjust the flaking size of the pulp in the fiber aggregate machine within 135~145;
(2)Adjust the width of the pulp after cladding by the baffle and the batten on both sides. Keep the pulp to go through smoothly and make sure that the batten should not be too tight or too loose.
(3)Adjust the iron bar on both sides of the paper cladding in order to make the sanitary napkin be enwrapped tightly with the pulp and make sure that no loosening will occur.
(4)Adjust the center distance of the paper cladding to 180mm.
(5)Adjust the distance between the freewheel of the sanitary napkin and the conveyor wheel of the cotton pulp to avoid falling and jamming of the pulp.
3、Adjustment of Cotton Cutter
(1)The center distance of the cotton cutter should be adjusted to180MM.
(2)Before adjusting the cotton cutter, clean the upper and down roller with gasoline to make sure no impurities are found.
(3)Pressure adjustment
Before the cotton pulp going through the cotton cutter, lose the trimming bolts on both sides of the cutter as well as the bolts in the center, and tighten the φ12 bolt a little to leave a certain distance between the upper roller and down roller. In case the pulp cannot be cut on one side, just loosen the pressure on the cut side and tighten the pressure on the uncut side in order to balance the rollers on both sides to make the pulp be broken easily through the cutter.
(4)Inside and outside adjustment:
Loose the four tighten bolts on the cutter adapter, turn the inside and outside adjusting knob by the adjustable spanner. The cutter body will move outward if the adjusting knob is turning clockwise, and move inward if turning counterclockwise. As for the X type cut rejects, if the outside edge is bigger than the inside edge, move outward of the cutter body. Otherwise, reverse it.
(5)Fore and aft adjustment
According to the indicated fore and aft direction of the brake, adjust the position of the cutter through the handwheel.
(6)Air volume adjustment
Turn the suction air piece when its tighten bolt is loosened. The air should be sucked immediately once the x type rejects of newly cut are emptied. Then tighten the bolts again. Adjust the distance between the aspiration channel and the cutter to make sure that the X type rejects can be sucked away smoothly.
4、Adjustment of Guide Way
(1)Pressure adjustment
When the requirement temperature achieves but the guideway is not pressurized, increase the pressure uniformly on both sides of the guide way. The procedures to adjust pressure are the same as what are applied to the cotton cutter. When both the temperature and pressure meet the requirement, check if the material is fed smoothly.
(2)Temperature adjustment
Adjust the temperature according to different materials. In case the pressure is enough while the guideway cannot be pressed up, heat the guide way step by step until it is pressed up.
When the guide way cannot be pressed up in spite of enough temperature and pressure, please check if there is any impurity or burr occurred on the guideway, and if there is some electric heating tube damaged.
When the machine is speeded up, increase both the pressure and the temperature accordingly.
(3)Inside and outside adjustment
Adjust the center distance of the guideway properly. The inward and outward adjustment procedures are the same as that of the cotton cutter.
(4)Fore and aft adjustment
In case there is no device to slow down the speed, please rotate the turning wheel according to the fore and aft direction indicated on the brake. In case there is no brake, please loose the adjustable flange bolts in the machine housing, and turn the guide way to the proper position, then tighten the bolts again.
(5)Shifting Type Guide way A or B products adjustment.
- Before you change to B size, you need to close A size product Guide Way temperature.
- Close A size Cylinder, divided “up Roller” and “down roller”.
- Open B size Guide Way Cylinder, joint “up Roller” and “down roller”. Make them connect. Then, adjust Air-pressure watch, turn on the temperature switch, increase the temperature .
5、Adjustment of Hot Sealing Model
(1)Pressure Adjustment
The adjustment of the pressure for the hot sealing model is the same as that of the cotton cutter, and make sure that both sides must be kept in balance. When the temperature reaches the certain requirement while the sealing doesn't work, please pressurize the hot sealing model properly until no crack happens.
(2)Temperature Adjustment
The temperature should be adjusted according to different raw material. When the required pressure is achieved, heat up the hot sealing model properly. When the machine is speeded up, raise the temperature for the hot sealing model.
In case following problems happen during the running of the machine, take relevant measures accordingly:
A. Top roller cannot be sealed a. Check if the top roller is aligned with the down roller;
b. Check if there is any impurity on the roller;
c. Check if the temperature is proper.
B. One side cannot be sealed
a. Check if the cutter rollers are kept in balance on both sides;
b. Check if there is any impurity on both sides of the cutter roller;
c. Check if there is any impurity on the gear.
(3)Inward and outward adjustment
First, check if the cotton core is cut at the center. Then check if the hot sealing model is at the center. When the cotton core is in the middle of 180 MM, adjust the hot sealing inward and outward in order to have an even distribution on both sides. The adjustment procedure is the same as that of the cotton cutter. In case there is an uneven distribution between inside and outside during the machine operates in high speed, paper cladding can also be applied to make the distribution uniform on both sides.
(4)Fore and aft adjustment
To release the adjustable handwheel on the brake, rotate the handwheel according to the fore and aft direction indicated. In case the fore and aft position is in misalignment, the following measures should be taken:
A. Check if the driving belt between the cotton cutter and the guideway is loosened;
B. Check if the cotton cutter roller and the hot sealing model is loosened;
C. Check if the adjustable hand wheel for the brake of the cotton cutter and the hot sealing model is tight enough;
D. Check if there is any problem occurred in the guideway, such as the temperature of the guideway is too high and the guideway cannot be pressed up;
E. Check if the chains or the synchronous belt in the machine chamber are working properly;
F. Check if the bearings on each driving part are in good conditions;
G. Check if the paper cladding is smooth.
H. Shifting Type Thermo sealing mould A or B products adjustment.
- Before you change to B size, you need to close A size product Thermo sealing mould temperature.
- Close A size Cylinder, divided “up Roller” and “down roller”.
- Open B size thermo sealing mould Cylinder, joint “up Roller” and “down roller”. Make them connect. Then, adjust the Air-pressure watch, turn on the temperature switch, increase the temperature .
6 Adjustment of model cutter
(1)Pressure adjustment
A:Loose the screw on the cutter adapter to make the roller balance. Clean the model cutter and make sure no impurity is found;
B: When the whole cotton cannot be cut completely, loose the four φ12 bolts on the adapter first, then pressurize the roller until the cotton is cut;
C: In case partial cut occurs:
a. Check if the local blade is in good condition;
b. Check if there is any impurity on the cutter retainer or the blade;
c. Check if there is any impurity on the gear.
(2) Inward and outward adjustment
A: The inward and outward adjustment of the cutter adapter is the same as that of the cotton cutter;
B. Adjust the hot sealing model according to the distance between the hot sealing model and the cotton core;
C. In case a big portion is cut inside while a small portion is cut outside due to the machine running at a high speed, adjust the driving belt of the right side model cutter toward the side which has cut a big portion. In case a small portion is cut inside while a big portion is cut outside, reverse it.
(3) Fore and aft adjustment
A:Release the bolts on the adjustable hand wheel of the brake, turn it back and forth until it is in proper position, then tighten the bolts.
B: In case the fore and aft position is in misalignment,
a. Check if the driving belt between the hot sealing model and the model cutter is loosened;
b. Check if any damage occurred on the bearing, chains or synchronous belt;
c. Check if the adjustable hand wheel of the brake is fastened.
(4) Shifting type, forming cutter A or B products adjustment.
- Close A size forming cutter’s Cylinder, divided “up Roller” and “down roller”.
- Open B size forming cutter’s Cylinder, joint “up Roller” and “down roller”. Make them connect. Then, adjust the Air-pressure watch, turn on the temperature switch.
7 Adjustment of release paper
- Fore and aft adjustment: Loose the adjustable flange bolts in the machine housing, rotate the suction panel to the proper position, and then tighten the adjustable flange bolts.
- Glue break adjustment: Loose the bolts on the slab rubber, turn it back and forth until the cutter approaches to the breakpoint of the glue, then tighten the bolts;
- Cutter breakage adjustment: In case one side cannot be cut off, loose the front bolts on the broken side to release the stress first, then balance the force applied on the both sides until the cut-off occurs with a light noise. Check the bolts around the bearing to see if they are loosened or not when the cutter cannot cut off sometimes.
- Inside and outside adjustment: First, adjust the center distance of the suction panel properly, then adjust the inside and outside of the release paper and the adjustment bolts. The driving belt of the suction panel can also be used to adjust the inside and outside of the release paper.
- Air volume adjustment: Loose the adjustment bolts of the suction air piece, and rotate it. Suction the air immediately as soon as the cutter cuts off.
Change A to B size products, the machine has two sets of gears for transmission parts. (A as same as B).
1. Loose A or B’s tighten screw of connection gear , make connection gear and gear separate.
2. Takedown A or B connection gear, let connection gear and gear tight each other, then make tidy for the screw of connection gear on tighten seat.
The sanitary napkin machine is a long and high machine and consists of several parts. So the connection work must be done well. The horizontal level is very important, and the floor must be very smooth, the machine must be fixed to the foundation by bolts. The control panel must be dust-free, and its position must be convenient for operation.
